Don't let the Conservative government take away your right to vote!

Nowadays, anyone voting in person will have to bring valid photo ID with them in order to cast a ballot.  This initiative risks disenfranchising millions of vulnerable, young and elderly people and has cost millions of pounds of public money, despite there being very low rates of electoral fraud in the UK.  Click the button above, or here, to find out what forms of photo ID are valid and how you can get them for free.  On the Electoral Commission website you can also find out how to register for different types of vote, including a postal vote or a proxy vote if you struggle to get to a polling station.

Help us get a fair deal for Reading!

Voting Liberal Democrat - whether you're in Emmer Green or Whitley, Tilehurst or Park - will help us get the fair deal Reading deserves.  Reading has suffered from a lack of vision and leadership for too long.  To tackle this, we have a 'Six to Fix' list of easy, achievable things that would change Reading residents' lives for the better:

•    Joined-up cycle lanes
•    Kerbside glass recycling
•    Bus services to all areas
•    Protected library services
•    An after-school club or youth centre for every young person
•    Telling Thames Water "no": stop sewage dumping and fix our water supply

You can read about what we stand for here, about our aims in our manifesto, and the priorities and backgrounds of each of our candidates on their pages, above.  If you like what you read, why not get in touch or get involved - and help us get a fair deal for Reading.
